CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Jury selection is underway in the trial of a Cape Girardeau man accused of pulling the trigger in a 2009 triple murder.
Ryan Patterson could face the death penalty if convicted in the shooting deaths of Jamie Orman, her son 15-year-old son Derrick and her unborn son..
Patterson's jury is being chosen down in Pemiscot County.
Jurors will then be brought to Jackson on Monday, where his trial is set to begin.
The two other suspects in the case, Michelle Lawrence and Samuel "Ray-Ray" Hughes, both pleaded guilty and are expected to testify at Patterson's trial.
