Funeral arrangements set for 5-year-old girl who lost fight against tumor

OAK RIDGE, MO (KFVS) -

A brave 5-year-old little girl who has been profiled on Heartland News in the past has lost her battle against a rare and aggressive type of brain tumor.

Five-year-old Abby Jensen of Oak Ridge passed away Sunday morning.

Abby was a bright young girl who touched many with her smile and positive attitude.

Abby's dad is a Cape Girardeau police officer, and family members say she died in her father's arms Sunday morning.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 27 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ford and Sons in Cape Girardeau.

A celebration of life will be Thursday, July 28 at 11 a.m. at Ford and Sons.
