MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - A two-car collision sends four to the hospital in McCracken County.
According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, It happened Saturday morning. There was congestion due to a stalled car on the interstate 24 bridge over the Ohio River.
Officers say 35-year-old Mike Torrence of Patoka, Illinois had to stop abruptly to avoid rear-ending cars on the bridge.
Twenty-six-year-old Sheena Wichlacz of Rock Island, Illinois didn't stop in time and rear-ended Torrence.
Torrence, Wichlacz and her passengers: a 53 year old woman, 3 year old and 10 year old child were taken to a Paducah hospital with minor injuries.
All were wearing seatbelts.
The east bound lanes of the bridge were closed for an hour as deputies investigated the crash.
