POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) - A Poplar Bluff man has died from heat related issues and heavy alcohol use.
Fifty-7-year-old Richard Lovelace was found dead around 6:30 a.m. on July 12 in the parking lot of CJ's Pawn Shop, according to Jim Akers, Butler County Coroner.
Akers says Lovelace was living in a small camper in the lot of CJ's Pawn Shop, at 628 S. Westwood Blvd. in Poplar Bluff.
The corner believes heavy alcohol use along with hot temperatures lead to his death.
