JACKSON, MO (KFVS) - The Heartland continues to show support for the Waller children.
At Stooges Restaurant in Jackson, Wednesday was "It's Jacque Waller Day."
All day long 10-percent of proceeds went to Waller's triplets. The owner and patrons say it's the least they can do.
"It's just something that as a member of this community it's had a major impact," said Ted Clark, Owner of Stooge's Restaurant. "It's a horrible tragedy and I hope everything turns out ok."
Many of the patrons never met Jacque Waller or her family but felt compelled to help.
"It's a tough situation and our hearts hurt for these kids because there's so much uncertainty," said Deb Martin of Jackson.
"We don't care how much money they get, the point is there's so many people who care more than 10,000 people are now on Jacque's Facebook page," said Jacque's mother, Ruby Rawson. "We never dreamed we would get this kind of support and never dreamed it would go on this long. We're overwhelmed."
Along with Jacque Waller's parents, other family members were also at Wednesday's fundraiser.
