3 children injured after 2 motorcycles collide

SCOTT COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

Three children were injured Saturday afternoon in a 2-motorcycle crash in Scott County.

It happened around 1:50 p.m. on Bohanon St., 3 miles north of Sikeston.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 11-year old motorcycle driver Ty Fowler turned his bike into the path of a bike driven by a 12-year-old Marissa Jones along with her 12-year-old passenger Kayla Graham. That's when police say the bikes collided.

All of children are from Sikeston and received moderate injuries, according to troopers.

Police say the Fowler was flown to a Cape Girardeau hospital. Jones and Graham were taken by Scott Co. EMS to a Cape Girardeau hospital.
