PERRYVILLE, MO (KFVS) - The Perryville fire chief and fire crews were on the scene of a fire reported at a campground in Perryville on Wednesday evening.
It happened at 300 Eastlake Drive.
According to Asst. Fire Chief William Jones the fire damaged the main building at the campground.
Jones says firefighters from Perryville and Biehle quickly got it under control.
One man inside went to the hospital for smoke inhalation, according to Jones.
The building suffered quite a bit of smoke damage. Jones says the exact cause of the fire is unclear, but it appears to be electrical.
No one else was hurt in the blaze, said Jones.
