2 teens injured in Butler Co. rollover crash

BUTLER COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

Two 19-year-old teenagers were injured in rollover accident Saturday afternoon in Butler County.

It happened around 2:20 p.m. on Route 67, 3 miles south of Poplar Bluff.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the car ran off the right side of the road, the driver overcorrected, ran off the left side of the road and overturned.

The 19-year-old driver Gavin Wilfong of Doniphan received minor injuries. A 19-year-old occupant, Aaron J. Lee of Doniphan received moderate injuries. Both were taken by EMS to a Poplar Bluff hospital, according to the crash report.

Both people were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the patrol.
