FAA investigates deadly plane crash near Dudley

STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

A man has been killed in a small engine place crash late Saturday morning in Stoddard County.

Richard Bowie, 53, of Fisk, Mo. died at the scene.

According to Stoddard County Coroner Aaron Mathis, the crash happened off of Route TT and County Road 624 near Dudley, Mo.

The single-engine plane went down in a field.

Mathis says the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) arrived in Dexter at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will be out Sunday investigating the incident.
