Two arrested after home invasion, prescription drugs stolen

MARSHALL COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Police arrested two men accused of breaking into a home and stealing prescription drugs.

Michael Nunley, 27, of Calvert City is charged with DUI and robbery 1st degree.

Michael L. Bledsoe Jr., 21, of Calvert City is charged with tampering with physical evidence and robbery 1st degree.

Police responded to a home invasion report at 4:51 a.m. Thursday in the 2300 block of Groggstown Road.

The victim told police a man forced his way into his home with a rifle and took prescription medications.

A Benton Police officer stopped Nunley for DUI and traffic offenses.  Nunley is accused of driving the vehicle in the robbery.

Police found Bledsoe Jr. in rural Livingston County in a camper on Coon Chapel Road.

The investigation continues.

The Marshal County Sheriff's Office, Benton Police Department, Marshall County Special Response Team, and the Livingston County Sheriff's Office participated in the investigation.

    Police confirm the suspect shot his grandmother and a woman at another location, then took his grandmother's car. He also took the wounded woman with him.
