PEACH ORCHARD, MO (KFVS) - Search crews found the body of a missing man on a floodway bank early Friday morning in Pemiscot County.
Larry "Joe" Crafton was found on top of a bank on a floodway near the Peach Orchard community a little after 6:30 a.m.
Crafton's family contacted authorities Thursday around 11 p.m.
Crafton often rode his four-wheeler in and around the floodways. Family members saw his truck and trailer, but not Crafton or his four-wheeler.
Deputies and search teams looked for Crafton until about 3 a.m. Friday. They resumed the search at daylight.
Crafton's body was found about six miles south of Hwy. EE on one of the floodway banks just after 6:30 a.m.
Police say it appears Crafton climbed to the top of a bank and collapsed after his four-wheeler possibly rolled over several times.
No foul play is suspected. Authorities believe Crafton died from health related issues.
The Pemiscot County Rescue Squad, Bragg City Fire Department, and others assisted in the search.
