SALINE COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - A Tennessee man has been sentenced to 8 years behind bars for driving under the influence of alcohol in Saline County.
According to Saline County State's Attorney, Michael Lee Fowler of McKenzie, Tenn. was sentenced in Saline County Circuit Court to 8 years in the Ill. Dept. of Corrections. This was after he pleaded guilty on Federal 25, 2011 of aggravated driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
According to the state's attorney, charges were filed in Dec. 2009 of 4 counts of aggravated driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage stemming from a crash on Ill. Hwy. 34 in Saline County.
