Disaster assistance is still available for those impacted by the spring flooding.

State Emergency Management Agency officials are setting up in Marion, IL on June 29 where Illinoisans can pick up mitigation information.  Those looking for help and needing to talk to people should go to the disaster recovery center in Cairo.  SEMA officials and teams will be providing service through Saturday, July 2 at 1301 Enterprise Way in Marion, IL.

A state briefing in Harrisburg, IL was held on June 29 and provided information on FEMA's public assistance program. Officials talked about assistance that is available to those in the Heartland who suffered flood and storm damage.

A disaster recovery center is now open at 1101 Veteran Street in Kennett, MO. FEMA specialists are available to answer questions and victims help fill out disaster loan applications.
