Harrisburg crews work to keep high water out of town

The Mayor of Harrisburg says the town has received 5" of rain within a 4 hour period.

Mayor Eric Gregg says pumps ran throughout the night, but the water was more than they could take.

Crews are working to keep as much water out of town as possible.

Gregg says they are keeping up with the water removal right now, but roads are flooded and septic tanks are full.

He says the system is working overtime and if more rain falls, it would cause additional water related problems.
