Police investigate Williamson County crash

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

Police are investigating a traffic crash involving a Tunnel Hill resident who was cited for driving under the influence.

According to Williamson Co. Sheriff Bennie Vick, Seven Olejniczak of Tunnel Hill was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police say Olejniczak was driving north on Route 37 Tuesday around 5:30 p.m. just south of Pulley's Mill Rd. The car then crossed the center line and struck a car driven by Roy Johnson of Goreville head-on, said Vick.

Johnson and his two passengers were all transported to an area hospital for treatment.
