Deadline in applying for Ky. unemployment due to storms

WESTERN KENTUCKY (KFVS) - If you live in Kentucky and lost work due to storms or floods, the application deadline is Friday for unemployment assistance. The deadline is Friday, June 24.

A total of 22 Ky. counties are eligible for assistance. In western Ky. counties include:

Livingston, Graves, Fulton, McCracken, Carlisle, Crittendon, Ballard, Hickman and Hardin.

The Kentucky office of employment and training says farmers and the self-employed may also qualify, even though they normally aren't eligible for such assistance.

Again,  the deadline to apply for help is Friday, June 24.
