And with some of the Heartland still under water, help form the government is being provided to southern Illinois.
Beginning this Thursday - FEMA is meeting with local officials to help them get federal money that will pay for up to 75 percent of their costs they've endured during this disaster.
FEMA will be in Centralia on Thursday, with visits scheduled to Carterville, Shawnee College, Murphysboro, and Harrisburg next week.
These meetings are for local officials to get help from FEMA, and are not open to the public.
