MISSOULA COUNTY, MT (KPAX/CNN) - A neighborhood in Montana suddenly lost power thanks to a dead deer and the eagle which dropped it.
Photos of the incident were snapped by a neighbor as workers had to remove the deer from a power line.
One woman who talked to the power crews said a bald eagle gutted the tiny fawn, then lifted it up and dropped it, triggering the power outage.
"I said, 'What was the problem?' So, he rolls down the window and he points up in the air right over my head at this power line and he goes, 'You see that?' And I look up and he goes, 'You got a deer with wings,'" Lee Bridges said.
The eagle that dropped the deer was spotted perched on a nearby tree.
The power crew was able to remove the deer carcass and get the power back up and running.
