MINER, MO (KFVS) -

Firefighters were called back to the scene of a fire they battled last week.

Apparently a hot spot leftover from Friday's blaze rekindled Monday morning at the Pallet Connection Company in Miner.

Crews were called to prevent the small fire from getting worse and spreading.

They took care of it around 5 a.m. Monday and once they were sure everything was OK, left the scene.

Last Friday owner Greg Casey said he plans to clean up, and get back to work as soon as possible.

Friday there no one was injured.

Miner Fire Chief Chris Smith says the cause of Friday's fire is still undetermined.

Smith says the State Fire Marshall investigated and does not believe any foul play was involved.
