Five teenagers injured in Dunklin County rollover crash

DUNKLIN COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

Five teenagers were injured Sunday afternoon in a rollover crash in Dunklin County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the car going westbound on County Rd. 509, 3 miles west of Senath, at an excessive speed, skidded off the right side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned.

Police say a  15-year-old female passenger received serious injuries. The 15-year-old female driver from Senath and a 16-year-old female passenger from Gobbler received moderate injuries.

A 17-year-old male passenger from Dexter and an 18-year-old male passenger from Dexter  also received moderate injuries.

All were taken to a Kennett hospital with injuries. The car was totaled.

No one was wearing a seat belt, police said.
