METROPOLIS, IL (KFVS) - Hundreds lined up to get a ticket into an autograph signing from the man of steel himself along with other super-characters.
The line stretched three blocks with some people waiting for more than 12 hours.
It's all part of the 33rd annual Superman Celebration this weekend in Metropolis.
The fun started Thursday and lasts through Sunday.
Special guests include actor Brandon Routh who played Superman in the movie "Superman Returns," Sam Huntington, Alaina Huffman, Mark Pillows, and Tracy Roberts.
7 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
7 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.
8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Folks can also be a part of super games, sporting events, movies, food and a costume contest.
