SEMO and Jacksonville State split doubleheader

First place in the Ohio Valley Conference on the line Friday at Capaha Park.

Southeast Missouri State defeated Jacksonville State 9-8 in the first game of the doubleheader but the Gamecocks bounced back for a 5-2 win in game two.

In game one, Nick Harris went 3-for-4 with a double and home run and Trenton Moses from Advance went 2-2 with three rbi.

The Redhawks are now 8-5 in the OVC sitting in 2nd place of the conference.

The two teams are scheduled to play tomorrow at 1pm.
