Deputies investigate DUI crash on Interstate 24

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

An early morning crash on Interstate 24 in McCracken County sends a man to the hospital and to court on an Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol charge.

According to the sheriff's department, deputies were called to mile marker 9 in the east bound lanes for a single car crash. It happened around 3:30 Wednesday morning.

Deputies said 24-year-old Dallas Harper lost control of his car on the wet pavement. Harper's car slid off the road, hit a tree, and landed in a ditch, according to the sheriff's department.
