KFC founder Colonel Sanders received death threat

He's an iconic figure and it turns out, Colonel Harland Sanders received a death threat.

Newly released documents from the 1970s show the FBI investigated a death threat against the Kentucky Fried Chicken founder.

The handwritten warning came from someone identified as "The General."

It said Sanders was in grave danger of being murdered.

Sanders died in 1980 from leukemia. He was 90 years old.
