POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) - An early morning argument leads to man getting cut with a knife.
According to Poplar Bluff Police Chief Jeff Rolland, police responded to the 600 block of North D Street around 6:15 a.m. where they found Christopher Mattox, 54, bleeding from his scalp.
After talking with Mattox, police later arrested a 28-year-old woman of the same address, according to Rolland.
There have been no formal charges against the woman.
Police say, the victim admits the two persons had been drinking and taking hydrocodone. After arguing, the victim was cut with a knife.
Mattox was taken to a local hospital for treatment, and was released pending further investigation, said Rolland.
According to Rolland, the matter is still being investigated.
