Golden Alert for missing elderly man

RICHMOND, KY (WAVE) - An elderly man from Garrard County has been missing for nearly a week, and a Golden Alert remains in effect for 78-year-old Donald B. Scully, who was last heard from by family members on April 1.

Scully is a white male, medium complexion, with blue eyes, 5'9" in height and weighs approximately 180 lbs. He is bald and wears glasses, but authorities do not know what clothing he was wearing when he disappeared.

Scully drives a white 2004 GMC Sierra pickup bearing Kentucky license 3532 CC. The vehicle has 6" silver and blue reflective tape running from the front bumper to the end of the cab.

According to Kentucky State Police in Richmond, Scully's wife is currently out of the country and last spoke to him by telephone on April 1.

Scully takes medication for diabetes and high blood pressure and suffers from slight dementia. Investigators say they found his medications at home on Kentucky 34 and there was no additional clothing was missing from the residence.
