SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) - A domestic violence call led to some tense moments Sunday in Sikeston.

According to Jim McMillen with DPS, they got a domestic violence call to a home on Ranney St. after a man living there got into a verbal argument with the home owners.

Tips led police to believe the suspect was barricaded inside the home with a gun.

However, during the investigation police found the suspect elsewhere in Sikeston.

Investigators say the suspect surrendered to police.

The man was arrested on outstanding warrants.
