Painter will reportedly decide on Missouri basketball Job Wednesday

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - According to the Kansas City Star, former Southern Illinois and current Purdue basketball coach Matt Painter will make a decision on the Missouri job on Wednesday.

Painter met with Mizzou Athletic Director Mike Alden on Tuesday to discuss the School's coaching vacancy.

Purdue also issued a statement saying it is committed to keeping Painter a Boilermaker.

Painter has been selected Big Ten coach of the year three times and led Purdue to the Sweet Sixteen twice.
