Bus driver found dead behind the wheel

PULASKI COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - Illinois State Police found a bus driver dead behind the wheel Monday in Pulaski County.

Katie, J. Staley, 54, of Mounds was found behind the wheel of an Illinois Central bus in a ditch on Shawnee College Road in Pulaski County.

Staley was found at 8:47 a.m. with no pulse.

Assistant Coroner David Barkett pronounced Staley dead at the scene.

There were no passengers on the bus.
