Paducah man sentenced to 138 months for drug-trafficking

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - A Paducah man was sentenced March 28 to prison time for being in possession of and selling cocaine.

Lavance N. Davenport, 35, was given 120 months after pleading guilty to a seven count indictment and another 18 months for violating supervised release for a 2004 drug conviction. The two sentences are to be served consecutively.

According to court records, Davenport plead guilty in a conspiracy to possess cocaine with the intent to distribute it and to six separate distributions of cocaine on Dec. 13, 2010.

The total street value of the drugs involved was about $7,500.
