Sarah Palin's support among likely Republican primary voters is fading, according to a newly released Gallop poll.
It's the second national survey this week to indicate Palin is headed in the wrong direction as the 2012 primary race begins to gear up.
The survey found 12 percent of Republicans and Republican leaning independents would support her.
That's a four percent decline from a similar Gallop survey conducted a month ago.
The poll indicates former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee remains on top of the GOP presidential field, at 19 percent.
Huckabee is followed by former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, at 15 percent.
