CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - One driver went to the hospital for minor injuries after a vehicle flipped in Cape Girardeau Tuesday morning.
Police say the wreck took place in front of Saint Francis Medical Center after a car traveling on William Street ran a red light and struck a Ford Flex crossing the intersection on Saint Francis Drive, according to Cape Girardeau Police.
The Ford Flex rolled over onto its roof. Police say that the driver of the Flex was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. A two-year-old was also in the Flex but was not hurt.
Police had to close down several lanes on William Street to clean up the wreck.
