SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) - Hundreds of people came out to enjoy the show while helping children with disabilities Saturday and Sunday, as the Kenny Rogers Children's Center held its 31st annual telethon.
$448, 000 was raised for the center as of 5 p.m. on Sunday.
The event is held yearly to raise money so the center can provide free therapy for children with disabilities right here in the Heartland.
Events like a dog show and fish fries were scheduled to benefit the telethon that was being held at the Sikeston Fieldhouse.
The Kenny Rogers Children's Center is located in Sikeston.
