Good Afternoon and Happy St. Patrick's Day! Here is a look at what we are working on for tonight's Heartland News and kfvs12.com.

More and more infants are at risk of dying because of co-sleeping, which is actually rolling over on your baby while asleep.  Julia Bruck talks a Heartland mother who has lost her baby because of this rare occurrence which is in fact becoming more common.

An Illinois Senate committee has voted to raise cigarette taxes by $1 a pack and use the money for construction projects around the state. We will have local reaction from smokers in Anna.

Laura Wibbenmeyer says the weather will continue to be mild with diminishing winds after sundown! She will have the full StormTeam 7-day forecast tonight on Heartland News.

Also, Laura talks with students and staff in Puxico where the junior high school is "making the grade," and growing students knowledge of the world—while improving lower MAP scores using The Amazing Race as a theme!

Crystal Britt has been in St. Francois County where authorities are holding a suspect for allegedly sending unsolicited text messages with sexually explicit pictures, and police are asking victims to come forward. 

There was another K-2 bust in the Heartland, this time police found more than 1 pound along with other drugs in a car in Miner.  Holly Brantley has been in Miner today and has the latest information on this story.

Tri-county jail troubles!  Union County has pulled prisoners out due to rising cost, finding drugs and escapees. Carly O'Keefe has been in Union County all day and has the latest details on this story.
