Police find more than 1 pound of K-2 in car

MINER, MO (KFVS) - Miner police have searched a car and found more than one pound of K-2 spice with other narcotics.

Sherrie Renfro, 23, and DeWhitney Ball, 23, both of McComb, Ms. were charged with possession with intent to distribute a narcotic, and possession of a controlled substance on March 16, 2011, according to Chief Chris Griggs.

Officers with the Miner Police Department stopped the car on U.S. Highway 62 near Interstate 55.

This is one of the largest K-2 spice seizures in the Miner area, and police will continue to take such drugs off of the streets, according to the chief.
