Three arrested for string of burglaries near Jonesboro

JONESBORO, IL (KFVS) - Three men are charged in connection with a string of burglaries in rural Jonesboro.

Joshua J. Kelley, 25, of East Cape Girardeau, Marco A. Dominguez, 20, of Cape Girardeau, and Shane L. Shafer, 24, of Downing Missouri are each charged with two counts of aggravated possession of stolen firearms, a Class X felony and Class 1 felony, three county of residential burglary, all Class 1 felonies, and two counts of theft, both Class 3 felonies.

The men are accused of multiple burglaries on Lingle Creek Road and Old Cape Road in rural Jonesboro on March 1.

Bond for each suspect is set at $150,000.

Kelley was taken to the Tri-County Jail in Ullin on related Alexander County charges.

Dominguez was taken to the Cape Girardeau County Jail.

Shafer was being held in custody in Adair County, Mo. awaiting extradition to Illinois.
