MURPHYSBORO, IL (KFVS) - Two people were arrested after police were called for a disturbance.
Murphysboro Police Dept. received a call from a resident in the 900 Block of North 24th Street in reference to two people knocking on their door that appeared to be intoxicated; one who had urinated off the front porch.
Officers arrived and found two people. One of the men was Logan Collins, 19, of Pomona. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant in Union County. He was also charged with underage consumption of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The second person was Alfonso Arthuro Rios, 19, of McLeansboro. He was charged with aggravated battery, underage consumption of alcohol, obstruction justice, obstructing a peace officers, and obstructing identification.
According to the Murphysboro Police Dept., when police first arrived Rios told officers several different names. Police say Rios also ran from officers into a wooded area.
Police say that additional officers were brought in to help with the chase in the woods, and one officer received a minor injury.
Rios was eventually taken into custody.
Both men were taken to the Murphysboro Police Department.
