SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) - Police arrested two Sikeston men on crack cocaine charges Saturday.

Phillip Harrell, 38, is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Antonio Turner, 39, is charged with possession with intent, trafficking 2nd Degree and resisting arrest.

A Sikeston Department of Public Safety officer stopped a vehicle near the West North and Frisco Street area Saturday at 3:30 p.m. for a routine traffic stop.

The officer noticed suspicious movement inside the vehicle.  The officer saw a large chunk of what appeared to be crack cocaine inside the vehicle.

Turner, the passenger, resisted arrest when the officer tried to detain him, according to Sikeston DPS.  He was arrested after a brief struggle.

Officers found crack cocaine on both suspects and inside the vehicle totaling more than 60 grams.

Turner's bond is set at $100,000 cash only.

Harrell's bond is set at $50,000.

Both Harrell and Turner were taken to the Scott County Jail.
