SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) – Police arrest two adults on meth drug charges.
According to the Sikeston Department of Public Safety, 33-year-old Eric Woods of Sikeston and 31-year-old Bonnie Woods of Sturdivant, MO were arrested on several drug charges and for Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Sikeston DPS say they found two children inside a home at 420 Dorothy and an active meth lab.
Officers say when they arrived at the home with a search warrant, the two adults appeared to be under the influence. When police entered the home they say they found methamphetamine precursors, a meth lab and a small amount of finished drugs.
Both adults are currently in the Scott County Jail on $75,000 cash only bond each and await an arraignment.
Police say the investigation continues in this case.
