WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - A crash in Williamson County leads to injuries and DUI charges early Sunday morning.
According to Illinois State Police, it happened around 1:30 a.m.
Troopers say 21-year-old Destry Evetts of Creal Springs was driving an SUV on Sulfur Springs Road. He apparently failed to stop at a stop sign, drove through the intersection and flipped the vehicle.
Evetts and a passenger, 21-year-old Christopher Evetts, did sustain minor injuries but refused medical treatment at the scene.
Troopers say they arrested Destry Evetts for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI), failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and illegal transportation of alcohol.
