Coroner: Body found in Cape Girardeau, died from natural causes

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Police were investigating a dead body that was found behind the Cape Girardeau County Health Department early Saturday morning.

The body of James Paul Baker, 66, of Linden St. was found by bystanders about 9:20 a.m.   on March 12, 2011, according to police.

The Cape Girardeau Police Department and Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the scene around 9:20 a.m.

The man died from natural causes and has no family in the area, according Cape County Coroner John Clifton.

There is a toxicology exam scheduled but no autopsy is planned at this time.
