YourTurn - 3/11/11

Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.

Chris Guetersloh from Murphysboro, Illinois:
"I could not disagree more with (Mike Smythe's ViewPoint) on university presidents who receive such high wages…if they are completing tasks that would take four normal people to complete in the same time frame why not hire the other three and split the salary…greed is a big problem in this country."
Charlotte Gilmore from Bertrand, Missouri:
"In reference to the Supreme Court ruling on the subject of free speech (by members of the Westboro Baptist Church) someone once said, ‘I may not agree with what you say but will defend to the death your right to say it.' The Supreme Court was right. The people picketing funerals are cruel…I wonder how they would feel if the same behavior they are inflicting was inflicted on them at the loss of one of their loved ones."

Randy Imel from Frenchburg, Kentucky:
"Thanks for airing ‘Tyler's Story' about Tyler Farmer. I was able to watch it on I am the minister of the Menifee County Church of Christ…Tyler has helped with our clothing giveaway for the last several years…Tyler always has a smile on his face…he is a very special young man."
