WEST FRANKFORT, IL (KFVS) - A man accused in a Franklin County tire slashing spree makes a plea deal.
According to court papers, Gared Angus pleaded guilty to one count for criminal damage to government supported property.
Court documents show Angus damaged the tires of a Dodge pickup truck which belonged to the city of West Frankfort.
This was part of a spree of tire slashings that damaged more than 60 tires on 49 vehicles.
Angus got a five year prison sentence.
Meantime, Joshua Spencer, 19, of West Frankfort and a juvenile also face charges in the case.
