CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The Missouri Highway Patrol reopened a portion of Highway 25 in Cape Girardeau County Friday night, several hours after the road was closed due to a crash involving a flatbed truck.

The highway had been shut down from Route 74 at Dutchtown to Route K in Gordonville after the truck, which was as hauling a large portable building, slid off the road.

Crews weren't sure how to get the vehicle and the building, which together weighed more than 80,000 lbs., upright again and called in a crane from the St. Louis area for help.  Workers were also concerned about getting the truck back on the road because of a significant amount of potentially dangerous power lines in the area.
