HERRIN, IL (KFVS) - Police have arrested one of four suspects involved the murder of a Herrin man in November 2010.
Torvelle L. Stanley, 22, of Cahokia, Ill. was arrested on March 2, 2011 by the U.S. Marshal's Service and the Illinois State Police in East St. Louis, according to the Herrin Police Department.
Stanley was wanted on a warrant out of Williamson County for first degree murder and is currently in the St. Clair County Jail on a $1 million bond, according to police.
The man was wanted by police for allegedly participating the murder of Jamel E. Davis, according to the police press release.
The murder happened on Nov. 11, 2010 in the 600 block of N. 9th St. in Herrin.
The other three suspects in the murder, Tommy Hapton, 29, of Carbondale, Travius Tucker, 21 of Fairview Heights and Demetrius Moore, 21, of East St. Louis are currently in custody, according to Herrin police.
