Carbondale man sentenced to 25 years for drug distribution

(KFVS) - A Carbondale man is sentenced to 25 years in prison for being involved in a drug distribution conspiracy.

On Monday, Attorney Stephen R. Wigginton announced that Clifford David Liddell, Jr, a/k/a "Woop", 25, of Carbondale was sentenced to 240 months in prison, 10 years supervised release, and was fined $600, after pleading guilty.

The offense occurred between January 2005 and February 2009 in Jackson and Williamson counties.

Five people have previously been sentenced for their roles in the conspiracy. One person pleaded guilty and is awaiting sentencing, another has been convicted by a jury and awaits sentencing.
