Burning trash gets out of control in Haywood City

HAYWOOD CITY, MO (KFVS) - The Scott County Rural Fire Department responded to a fire after burning trash got out of control.

Someone was burning trash on Hickory Street when it spread to a field, then spread to abandoned car, abandoned house, and abandoned shed.  Some railroad ties also caught fire.

The Morley Fire Department served as back up for Scott Co.
