Watch for YourTurn normally scheduled to air at the end of Heartland News at Noon on Mondays and Fridays, at the end of Heartland News at 10:00 on Saturday nights, and following The Breakfast Show on Sunday mornings.
"This is the first time I have disagreed with my favorite person at KFVS, Mike Smythe. I do not think we needed another casino in Cape Girardeau…gambling is a disease just like drugs and alcohol. Maybe not that severe but it causes people to lose their savings, their families, and their homes…thanks for (giving me) the opportunity to voice my opinion."
"The smoking ban in public places isn't just about smoking. Many of these ‘public' places are privately owned. This is more about government sticking its nose in our business. I don't smoke but feel that business owners should be able to decide what happens. This law keeps people from smoking in their own home if they have any home based business. What's next?"
Justin McGill from Poplar Bluff, Missouri:
"I am a non-smoker who doesn't enjoy being around smoking. I also used to own a restaurant that had a bar and allowed smoking. I do not support a smoking ban. I believe that each individual business should be allowed to make the decision to ban smoking or not…each will be able to decide which policy is better for business and will be able to provide customers with the services that they want."
