CHENEY, WASHINGTON (KFVS) - Southeast Missouri  headed to Eastern Washington in the second round of the NCAA Division I Football Championship Saturday.

Southeast squared off against the Eagles at Roos Field at 3:05.

The Redhawks made their first-ever NCAA Playoff appearance in 2010.

Southeast finished at 9-2 overall, and 7-1 in the Ohio Valley Conference.

The OVC Championship is Southeast's first since it joined the OVC and Division I ranks in 1991.

The playoff marked the Redhawks first for the program at any level in their 104-year football history.

The Redhawks failed to deliver in Washington. They lost to the Eagles 37-17.
