Police: Suspected drug dealer calls cops to report robbery

PARK HILLS, MO (KFVS) - Park Hills Police arrested five people after a they say a drug deal went bad.

Detective Mike Kurtz with the Park Hills Police Department says a St. Francois County man had arranged to meet a St. Louis man outside a gas station in Park Hills Thursday to buy heroin.

Kurtz says the suspected buyer tried to rob the suspected dealer of all of his drugs and made reference to a pellet gun in his waistband.

The suspected dealer then called police to report an armed robbery.

Four people in one vehicle and a person in another vehicle were arrested.

Charges are pending.
